Reading is perhaps one of the most essential skills of life. However, for many children learning to read is a difficult experience and one fraught with confusion, anxiety and distress for both the child and the parent.

This important programme is designed to assist children who have been identified early as having reading difficulties. It is also targeted towards children who have managed to progress through the school system yet lack any real reading capabilities.
This programme takes children right back to the basics of reading and is an intensive intervention programme.
A FREE ASSESSMENT is conducted to determine if this programme is appropriate for your child. Depending on age, children can progress from this programme to the Kip Reading Programme as their reading skills improve.
We also cover new style SATs tests to GCSE English. Your child will be taught by a fully qualified teacher.

About Course
At Kip McGrath we will teach your child to read using phonics so that if they come across a new word, they should be able to work it out. We will combine this with teaching sight word recognition so that reading fluency improves and teach skills needed for comprehension so that they understand what they read.
Our tuition aims to iron out any confusion and bring your child up to a comfortable level which allows them to achieve their academic goals.
